SEGA MARINE FISHING V0.800 2000.05.17 (TO CHECK) Dreamcast prototype

Sega Marine Fishing is a fishing video game, developed by Wow Entertainment and published by Sega, released in 1999 on arcade and Dreamcast.

The goal is to catch as many fish as possible. If in Sega Bass Fishing it was necessary to capture a certain weight, here it is a number of points that must be gained. The bigger the fish, the more points you earn.

The focus of the gameplay was to get the fish to bite on the lure, then successfully fight the fish and bring it back to the boat.

When the player catches fish, he gains item cards. Items earned with these cards include fish and artifacts for an aquarium, fishing gear, extra boats, and various wacky accessories such as shorts in different colors.

Particularities :

Since the game is in Japanese, it is difficult for me to follow my process to notice the differences. Some must have escaped me. This build may have some mysteries in its files, it's up to you to find them (I don't have the skills to do it).

  • The music is not implanted in the menus.

  • In the main menu, 2 references lead to the option menu (the second must be the non-functional Load).

If you decide to go explore the aquarium, the "Free Camera" option is available. We move sideways and up and down with the directional cross. Just hold A to go forward and B to go back. By maintaining X and a direction, we turn our head. Attention, photo taken in emulator, there is text in the box normally.
