The Unreleasead

Bulk prototype direct links:

Homebrew, a "Shoot'em up" that has been canceled.

The only known prototype of this game. Its promotional version "White Label" is rare.

Dreamcast port of the PC game "Ring: The Legend of the Nibelungen" which was unknown in the Unreleased lists.

Posting of the preparatory work for this canceled RPG of the Dreamcast created by a French collective.

The Holy Grail of Dreamcast Unreleased is finally live in an E3 pre-demo.

A new prototype version of this survival horror discovered in the form of an interactive video thanks to a debug menu

The first canceled gaming GD-I first discovered in 2003.

New build of this Rail Shooter and first GDI of the game.

You can interact with the demo using the debug menu or the free camera. It was present in the first SDKs used for the development of games on Dreamcast.

Shenmue 2 US V0.991 (Sep 14, 2001 prototype): Release of the American version canceled. This prototype has two Debugs Menus. We realize that they allow a lot of things in the game.

the protypes with their own page:

Certainly the rarest "White Label", its history remains a mystery.

Early build with important differences like the menu interface.

Prototype with an impressive menu debug.

Prototype based on Sonic Adventure 2 demo.

Early Build certainly useful at the Toy Fair.

This Sonic Adventure GD-R only contains data from the game's website, including pre-release patch notes.

This version has several dev options like flight mode or free camera.

A fall of 6 different versions of Quake 3 including an alpha E3 version

This early beta certainly corresponds to the same Naomi version that was unveiled during "AOU2000 Amusement Expo"

Icon of different menus, dev option present and so on!

Unique camera option, a lot of difference in game.

Build fully translated into English with the option "Cable link" still present.

Several Dreamcast prototypes for World Series Baseball 2K1 including an E3 build

Outtrigger prototype that was undoubtedly used for E3. Differences are visible.

Graphics and gameplay differences. In the game files, there are unused characters

Graphic differences, the translation from Japanese to English was in progress. This build looks like the Japanese Trial version.

This RPG contains a very comprehensive Debug menu. It must be a translation build, some passages still being in English.

2 prototype version of Nightame Creatures 2 with dev option on the keyboard to activate a sort of Debug menu (Free camera, sound check for example)

Debug impressive menu present in game to unlock in a special way. Some segments of the title are still in Japanese.

Early build of the game with some dev options like giving back time between checkpoints. There are also graphics problems, buildings are floating. Without forgetting the collision bugs which are frequent.

GD-Rom pressed pink which could correspond to a version of white label not used finally. It would have been called "Phantasy Star Online Beta"

Prototype with a Debug menu in the inventory. It also contains never-before-seen monsters not implanted in the final version.

Documents, press kit, various

Gamescom Sega press kit.

Japanese commercial flyers.

Half Life Strategy Guide.

The peculiarity of this prototype concerns the demo which is pending on the "Start" screen. Instead of having a sequence of the games, we have a promotional cutscene.

You can download it below:

Tee Off (Aug 25, 1999 prototype)

Test Drive: V-Rally (Jan 25, 2000 prototype)

A push menu debug is present by inserting a keyboard in port 2 of the console. It gives access to lots of options. It would take a long time to quote them all to you, the easiest way is to give it a try.

You can download it below:

Sega WordWilde Soccer (Oct 3, 1999 prototype)

The differences are notable for this version of Sega Worldwide Soccer.

The titles screen is not the same as the final version. We will notice a slight similarity with that of the Saturn version.

The entry cinematics of the matches are presented in completely different ways

Some options are missing, the colors of the buttons in the menus are not the correct one, the music of the menus as well as the sound effects for validating the options are different.

You can download it below:

Sega Worldwide Soccer 2000 (Oct 3, 1999 prototype)

Slave Zero, 2 build (Nov 22, 1999 prototype)

Debug options are present, you can activate them by connecting a controller to port 2 of the console and perform button combos . You will know that it is possible to be invisible, to have all the weapons ...

It's up to you to find the mysteries of this prototype !!!

It must be poorly optimized or unfinished. The more games crash the more we advance through the levels.

I have two different builds of Slave Zero having these dev options.

You can download them below:

Slave Zero (Aug 20, 1999 prototype)

Slave Zero (Nov 22, 1999 prototype)

Gunbird 2 ((Feb 23, 2000 prototype) NEW

The differences are few. This prototype is getting closer to a final version.

  • Gallery image (PVR) is incomplete.

  • Some boxes explaining the gallery's drawings are empty (character Alucard).

  • The end audio (ADX) contains noise.

  • The ADX end is not used in the US version, so it is meaningless.

You can download it below:
